About SpiritFlow
SpiritFlow was founded by Aivars and Ivans, combining more than 15 years of experience in beverage production, distillation, automation and process engineering.
Aivars brings hands-on experience in product development, flavour and experimentation, while Ivans, a distillery owner with an IT background, focuses on automation, efficiency and repeatable processes.
How spiritFlow began
How spiritFlow began
Working with different spirits, we saw that traditional barrel maturation is slow, expensive and not always easy to control.
We began studying existing technologies, working with universities and testing our own ideas with real beverages. This led to the first SpiritFlow prototype and a continuing programme of practical experiments.
Today, we are developing the reactor, automation and process-control systems needed to make maturation more controlled, repeatable and adaptable to different production needs.
